For the past few years, I’ve been creating the opening animation for the KBS live streaming channel of [Gozan no Okuribi]. Gozan no Okuribi is a common festival held in Kyoto, with its five giant bonfires lit on mountains surrounding the city. By redesigning common sights in Kyoto with the combination of an abstract 3D scene and motion graphics, I’ve made a video that shows the beauty of the bonfire surrounding the night of Kyoto.
